We do not ask for payment card details, Social Security numbers, government IDs, medical data, biometric data, or precise geolocation through this site.

- To book, confirm, manage, and show appointments.
- To show your loyalty pass, visit progress, and rewards.
- To help barbers and owners manage shop operations.
- To send account verification and other important account messages.

Booking and loyalty data
Loyalty belongs to Genesis Barbershop, not a single barber. A completed visit may count whether it was booked online or added by Genesis staff. Customers cannot add loyalty credit to themselves. Genesis staff confirm completed visits and reward use.

Emails and account verification
We use email to verify accounts, help customers access their pass, and send important service messages. These messages are part of operating the account and loyalty pass. Marketing email, if added later, should include its own choice to opt out.

Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run the website, authentication, database, storage, email delivery, and hosting. These providers process information for Genesis so the booking and loyalty tools can work.

Data security
We use reasonable safeguards for a small business booking and loyalty app, including account-based access and server-side role checks. No system is 100% secure, so please use a strong password and contact us if you think your account was accessed without permission.

Data retention
We keep account, booking, and loyalty records as long as needed to operate Genesis, support customers, maintain shop records, prevent abuse, and meet legal or business needs. We may delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and requests
You can contact Genesis to ask for access, correction, or deletion of your account information. Some records may need to be kept for shop operations, security, fraud prevention, or legal reasons. You can also visit the data request page.

Children's privacy
The Genesis website is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us so we can review it.
